Grrrr! is the pop up art space wot Raw Art was involved in, alongside Pandora Vaughan.
We’ve had two spaces, showing art and selling it, in Kentish Town London – summer 2016 and spring 2017. We’ve also held events including one about pop star crushes, one with actual lino carving and a Truth-Telling Hair Salon (not sure that actually happened tbh). We also created a painting challenge for KeelerTornero and they turned up with about 70 objects including a plastic turkey. “Award Machine” was Tessa Norton’s exploration of Alex Turner’s 2014 Brit Awards speech.
For more details go to the Grrrr! website…. or Instagram.

We’ve worked alongside artists including Cathy Ward, Exitstencil Press, Tessa Norton, Claire Biddles, Terry Hall, KeelerTornero, Louise Mason, Jane Hoodless, Joe Carcary and Scott King.
It is now ten years since the first Grrrr! Time doesn’t fly, that went quite slow. But we are proud of Grrrr! and proud of all of you who visited, took part, or even just read about it on the internet.
