Original oil painting on board. One of a recent series in oils exploring the way Photoshop AI “corrects” areas by randomly generating features. This one I was going to call “Costcutter Eyes” so really, that’s the other title.
Eyes, noses and ears are just patterns to the program, not necessarily an important part of the human face. “Healing” is in fact doing the opposite. How random are the results? What is the “intelligence” doing? Recreating Picasso, maybe. Or trying for a Bridget Riley but so disappointed with the source material. I’d like a chat with this particular intelligence. Can someone sort that out?
